Due to upcoming regulations, technical changes will be applied to the BMW M2, M3, and M4 models.
As a result, production of the following BMW M models will be temporarily suspended:
• BMW M2 (G87): April–July 2026
• BMW M3/M4 (G80, G81, G82, G83): April–June 2026
Production will not take place during the following months:
G80: April, May, June 2026
G81: April, May, June 2026
G82: April, May, June 2026
G83: April, May, June 2026
G87: April, May, June, July 2026
Production will resume as follows:
• BMW M3/M4: from July 2026
• BMW M2: from August 2026
Es scheint also doch einen Zusammenhang mit den ab 1. Juli 2026 für Erstzulassung gesenkten Lärmgrenzwerten (2 dB(A) geringer als bisher) einen Zusammenhang zu geben.
