We’re ending 2022 on a high, with our full release for G20 B48 cars! This includes worldwide variants of 318i/320i/325Li and 330i/Li.
Below you can find the hard-facts for our Stage 3 calibration, but in a nutshell this is just a huge step in overall driving performance. Our mission is always to make those cars more fun and flexible. Super-smooth but more responsive in Comfort, to bang-on shifts in Sport/Sport+, it’s all there. We also added a new function called „Max-Performance“ which will come as update to lots of other cars as well in the future. Just mash the throttle and the trans dials everything up to 11 instant, regardless of which mode you are in right now.

Here are the facts for Stage 3:
- Gear Display active in all modes
- Torque Limiters removed
- Enabled Ignition-Cut shifting, aka „Shift-Farts“.
(less boost-loss on shifts)
- Added MAX-Performance mode. Transmission
jumps instant to most aggressive mode on
Kickdown.
- Added RACE-Mode: Sport+ combined with DSC OFF
sets transmission to Circuit-Mode
3 selectable Shift-Speeds:
Comfort: Medium-Speed and smooth shifts
Sport: Medium to fast shifts, depending on throttle
Sport+: Super-Fast and firm shifts all the time
- Added adaptive Brake- and Corner-Shifting
strategy. Trans will instantly adjust to driver style,
when going faster into corners.
- Coasting removed in Comfort mode (still active in
ECO-Pro)
- Start/Stop disabled (still active in P)
- Shiftpoint in D-Comfort adjusted for better
driveability (better response, no more drone)
- Cruise-Control shifting adjusted for tuned engines
(no more unneccessary downshifting during cruise)
- Raised max. RPM in manual mode for high-power
engine builds. (up to 8000 RPM possible)
- Unlimited Launch Control usage allowed (stock
limited to 50 LC starts)
- 2TB Sport-Automatic always enabled. (regardless
of coding)
