You can order Alpina add-on parts directly from Alpina?!

    Without corresponding VIN...

(Apologies in advance: I used Google to translate my following post from English to German, so I'm responsible for any errors!)

This is my car! I test mounted the front lip after receiving it – and just for your information: it is 100% original. I only mounted it on the car because I was thrilled, but the middle support piece was missing, so it looks flabby. I waited until I had all the OEM exterior parts before completing the complete assembly because I want to be as thorough as possible. We're not as lucky as you are here in the U.S. – no G20/G21 Alpina models. ☹

I will be happy to publish a finished rebuild as soon as it is finished. So far, I've got the front and rear diffusers, the rear spoiler, the door sills and the iDrive controller.

The last decision I have to make is about the wheels... I'd like to have 20-inch Alpina rims, but I'm also thinking about a set of Schmidt's, as they've supplied wheels for them in the past. Either way, it's going to be a big expense, so I'm taking my time.

I know I'll never have a real ALPINA B3, but I do my best to show my fellow Americans its beautiful design without using cheap parts. Everything I bought was shipped to me from Germany ($$$...), so it's the best I can do since they don't exist here.

Oh – at the moment I don't plan to put ALPINA emblems on my car. Hopefully this will calm some people down a bit when I drive around with my "replica".

Last but not least: a cry for help! I tried to get the front canards from the B3 GT. These parts were the most difficult to obtain, as they are without a VIN and so new. If anyone is so generous as to help someone, please let me know. Also, I'd LOVE to find out how to get seats, or even just headrests and floor mats, along with Alpina trim (like the lighted part on the top dash of the B3 GT). I will make sure that you are well compensated!

Thank you for reading my long post. I hope everyone understands my situation, because I am simply a car lover and I do my best to experience one of the last true ALPINA generations in the only possible way where I live.
